Empty Bowls

On Saturday April 12th, the St. James Outreach Committee lead the congregation in a ministry striving to care for others, by conducting a food drive at local area grocery stores. In response to the devastating statistic that in the State of New Jersey 300,000 children go to bed hungry, the Empty Bowls Project supported the work of the Human Needs Food Pantry here in Montclair. We collaborated with the Youth Group and the parent group from the St. James Preschool as well as with members of the two other churches who use our Chapel every week.  View
